Applications

<p>String can be used for:</p> <ul> <li>Cotton</li> <li>Timber</li> <li>Polyester</li> <li>Leather</li> <li>Gold</li> <li>Diamonds</li> <li>Palm Oil</li> <li>Wool</li> </ul>

String can be used to trace any product no matter how complex or extensive the supply chain, or how many processes it passes through. You don't have to change your production methods, or install complex and expensive hardware or software. Simply record your usual basic production records into String (batch numbers of input, quantity, batch number of output etc), and these will be joined with String data from the rest of your supply chain to make a complete product history. String is especially useful for tracing commodity products, which pass through many different organisations and are not segregated from other products on the factory floor.

Why trace my products?

Understanding more about where your products come from is critical to your whole business. From the CSR team through to sourcing and finance, traceability is a key piece of the jigsaw for everyone.
