What is freeString?

freeString is the introductory service level of String. It is ideal for users who just want to try out the service to discover how it works and how best to use it in their business. freeString is also provided free of charge to organisations with no suppliers of their own, such as growers and primary producers, at the beginning of the supply-chain.

Through the web-based application, freeString users can send information to customers about the products they make themselves, and the business practices they operate.

freeString users should upgrade to a myString account if they need to receive information about materials they buy in from their suppliers.

Sharing Organisational Information:
freeString users can record and share information about their working practices; including photographs, certificates, and performance information.

Sending Product Information:
freeString users can record information about the products they make, and send this to their customers when they deliver the product.
