What is myString?

myString is the standard service level of String offered to users managing moderate volumes of traceability information in small and medium-sized enterprises further up the supply-chain.

Through the web-based application, myString users can receive information from their suppliers about the materials they buy in as well as send information to customers about the products they make, and the business practices they operate.

Sharing Organisational Information:
myString users can record and share information about their working practices; including photographs, certificates, and performance data.

Receiving Material Information:
myString users can receive and record information about the materials they buy in from their suppliers.

Sending Product Information:
myString users can record information about the products they make, and send this to their customers when they deliver the product.

Number of Users
– myString provides 24 x 7 access to the online String technology platform for up to 2 registered users.
– Additional users can be added to an account at an extra cost of £10 per user per month.

Unlimited Products and Processes
– myString users can set up their account to manage traceability information for an unlimited number of products and processes.

Profile Manager
– myString users can actively manage their company’s online profile, so that customers can learn more about the company’s capabilities and business practices.

Receiving/Sending Information
– myString users can receive traceability information from suppliers as well as send information to all of their customers using String.

Data Entry
– myString users manually enter data on to String directly using a standard web-browser.

Price
– There is a £250 sign-up fee, which includes a complimentary online Training session.
– The online monthly subscription for myString is £30 per month

As your company’s needs evolve, you can upgrade your account to deskString or powerString at any time.
deskString is the intermediate level on String which combines the functionality of a myString account with a one-touch data upload capability.
